Amrad 2777, 2753, 2771, 2776 Tube Radio
Amrad 2777, 2753, 2771, 2776 Tube Radio The American Radio and Research Corporation or Amrad manufactured these 4 individual units which together made a 3 tube battery radio. The unit sets were not good sellers for Amrad because for the same money you could buy a complete radio as one piece. Soon Amrad began combining several of these units together no longer necessitating the owner to wire the units all together. The ones pictured made a very simple radio set that could operate with headphones or if in a city a horn speaker could be used.
