Kellogg RFL Radio
The Kellogg Switchboard and Supply Co. was organized in 1897 by Milo Kellogg. It began in the radio business in 1922 and after a not very successful venture into radio stopped manufacturing them in 1930. The RFL was first introduced in 1925. It was unique in its time using the Kellogg AC tubes with the AC filament connection at the top of the tube (see picture of the inside of the set). It was a very expensive set for its time selling in 1926 for $400.
