Clapp-Eastham 1 Kilowatt Radio Transmitter
This full kilowatt spark transmitter made by Clapp-Eastham is from 1914. It is the set pictured on the opening page of this website. The parts were assembled from several places in the US. The marble panel with the meter and the switches is original from the mid teens. It came with all of the components already attached. The desk is a hand scraped homebuilt piece designed after pre-broadcast transmitting desks of the period. Oh yes, the transmitter works!
