Deforest BC 86A & Westinghouse BC 98A Radios
Here is a Deforest BC 86A transmitter and Westinghouse BC 98A receiver. Together they made up the SCR-109A set. Both sets have the identical date of April 20, 1921. Each radio is in excellent original condition inside and out. The cases have the original finishes. No extra holes. All latches and tags are there. The rear of each case has a schematic included. The Westinghouse BC 98A receiver operates with three VT 1 tubes. The receiver works. The clock is a rim wind automotive type clock. The Deforest BC 86A transmitter works. I uses a pair of VT 4's and a VT 2. The transmitter comes with the original key and microphone.
