Majestic "Charlie McCarthy" Tube Radio Model 1. Here is a 1938 Majestic "Charlie McCarthy", art deco Bakelite case, BC tube radio model 1. This Charlie is in excellent working condition and operating as it should. The case had some cracks that have been professionally repaired and it has been repainted and looks good. The AM band works great and all the stations come in clear, loud and accurate, ( external antenna is required). The set is about 6.5" wide, 6" high and 5.5" deep. Please keep in mind that this radio is uncommon and collectible radios are not meant for daily use.
