5881 Tungsol Special 6L6 Radio & Audio Tube. This tube was first developed by TungSol for the US Military. They are in short stubby glass envelopes. The 5881 has a maximum plate rating of 360 volts at 23 watts. I have about 25 of these tubes so can easily match up a pair or quad.
